Wild & Free Saturdays
Saturdays, 2.00 – 4.00pm
At The Patch we have created a space for families with children of all ages to explore, create and play together.
The sessions will take place once a month on a Saturday afternoon from 2 – 4pm.
Hosted by Liz Raba, who has developed The Patch and has worked for the last 20 years creating thoughtful, dynamic and creative sessions for children and adults alike.
Liz will provide invitations to play and explore, setting the scene for you to spend immersive family time together being wild and free…
- Gather together around the campfire
- Explore the natural world around us and observe the changing seasons
- Use tools and materials for cutting, crafting and creating
- Feel welcome in a playful and creative space
We all know the benefits of being outside in nature, connecting with the seasons and spending time with our children…
So whether you are looking to enhance your child’s outdoors learning opportunities, reintroduce the playful way of navigating the world that may have diminished as they have got older, develop their stamina, self-esteem or confidence in outdoors pursuits, or just want to be have fun with your family away from the distractions of home…
Meeting throughout the seasons and in all weathers, we’ve thought about shelter, refreshments, toilets and hand washing facilities… which leaves you free to enjoy your family time together.
